
Regional Complex Care Services support children and youth (under the age of 18) who have been approved for complex special needs funding by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. These services support families in the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of an Integrated Service Plan (ISP) to address the complex and changing needs of children, youth, and their families.

Access for this funding is through Coordinated Service Planning at the local level that ensures that resources available through the funded system of support and services have been accessed.
Support provided through the program:
Regional Complex Care Services are for families with children and youth (under the age of 18) requiring long-term, specialized services or supports for day-to-day activities, and who have support from their local Coordinated Service Planning to develop a Coordinated Service Plan and have had a CSN Resource review that has been confirmed eligible for Complex Special Needs funding.
Funding is provided by the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services. There is no fee for this service.
Referral for Regional Complex Care Services is facilitated through the local Coordinated Service agencies.
