Catulpa Community Support Services is a community-based, multi service agency supporting individuals and families throughout Simcoe County.

Our services include:  

  • Supports for children and adults who have developmental disabilities, and their families  
  • Wraparound services for families and individuals 
  • Early Intervention services  
  • CAP-C programs to promote the healthy development of children  
  • Supports for children with physical disabilities and their families  
  • Crisis Response for individuals with dual diagnosis  
  • Regional supports and Case Coordination for children with Complex Special Needs  
  • Inclusive Recreation Services

Catulpa Community Support Services’ philosophy is to provide support to families and individuals through partnerships. We are dedicated to providing services and programs that respond to the social-emotional, developmental and community needs of children, adolescents, families and adults.

Catulpa Community Support Services is a non-profit organization governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors.

Barrie Dragon Boat Festival Logo

The 2009 Barrie Dragon Boat Festival, in support of Barrie Public Library and other local charities took place on Saturday, August 22, 2009 in Heritage Park and on Kempenfelt Bay. With fine weather and a beautiful setting a successful day of racing was enjoyed by all. The Catulpa Conquestadores won 1st place in the Copper Division!! Congratulations!!

Ontario Trillium Foundation Grants were recognized on Thursday at a brief ceremony at The Seasons Centre for Grieving Children. A total of $616,300 was given to five different groups. The Season’s Centre, The King Edward Choir, The Simcoe County Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Advisory, The Barrie Minor Hockey Association and The Barrie Kempettes Gymnastic Club all received funding. MPP Aileen Carol was on hand to congratulate the recipients.
